SuiteCRM Integration With Accounting Software(Xero)

Client: A leading US-based company (Business Fundamentals) and they are involved in providing quality solutions. As there is constant Influx of changes influencing the industries that will require to stay relevant and provide high-value advice.

Challenges: The client wanted to send all the contacts/accounts to Xero. If the record exists then save the name for the final notification message, update the Xero id and Xero link field in CRM & move to the next record. If the record doesn’t exist in Xero, then create a new contact in Xero using the Account details from CRM.

Xero –  Its online accounting software connects you to accountants and bookkeepers, your bank, and a huge range of business. Xero empowers your SuiteCRM to make management of invoicing, expenses, reconciliation with customer data for billing and bookkeeping a minimal-effort affair.

Solutions: As first step, we studied all the existing functionalities. Based on that understanding, we parsed records to Xero and created a new module in SuiteCRM named Xero Invoices then created a custom button in the Details view of the Accounts module then we scheduled CRON job to query ALL SuiteCRM accounts and update all associated invoices for the associated accounts.
